Wolgarston High School celebrates another strong set of Year 11 results

Once again students at Wolgarston High School in Penkridge have recorded a very strong set of GCSE and BTEC results. Not only was the overall attainment particularly strong but the progress also was well above national average.

For the fifth consecutive year attainment & progress will both be well above national and local averages. Wolgarston will again be one of the very top performers in the county.

The school performed strongly across a very wide range of subjects including the core subjects of English, Maths and Science.

Headteacher Philip Tapp said, “I am delighted that once again Wolgarston students continue to perform significantly above the national average. Wolgarston over many years has gained a reputation for delivering great results and this year is no exception. Congratulations to all of our students and teachers for their hard work, dedication and spirit. I also would like to wish all of our students the best for the future, whether they join our sixth form, go to college or begin an apprenticeship.”
